Job Description

Your role as a Merchandise Sales Specialist involves the ability to communicate and connect with customers effectively, understanding their needs and wants fully. Your extensive knowledge and expertise in the appliances department will enable you to offer personalized and well-informed recommendations. Keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest trends and product advancements will give you an edge in providing excellent customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Interact with clients within the appliance department to bolster their experience, accomplish successful transactions, promote profitability and attain sales objectives
• Never stop expanding your knowledge and skills in the technology field to stay informed and ahead of the curve
• Customers are known to make inquiries, complaints, and returns, and it's your role to handle each circumstance professionally, and in doing so, retain their confidence in your brand
• Set realistic deadlines for your tasks to ensure that you stay on track with your workload. This also helps you avoid the stress of rushing to complete a task at the last minute
• Keep your department ready to serve customers at all times by ensuring that shelves are stocked, signage is clear, and products are tagged correctly
• Train other employees on how to achieve success on the sales floor

Basic qualifications

• Extensive experience crafting elaborate solutions in the realms of sales, customer service, or related fields has given me the knowledge and expertise necessary to succeed

Preferred qualifications

• Candidates must have a minimum of one year's worth of leadership experience in a related industry or a comparable level of military leadership
• Experience of one year in dealing with premium commodities, luxury brands, and bespoke designs
• A year-long stint in the field of customer relationship management (CRM)
